Our Role Model
Eliana Bommarito
Eliana Bommarito is a standout athlete and scholar, recognized for her exceptional achievements both on and off the wrestling mat. A 2022 graduate of Hartland High School, Eliana made history as a four-time High School State Champion, compiling an undefeated 54–0 record in girls’ competition. She is a four-time USA Wrestling/UWW All-American and captured national titles in both folkstyle and freestyle in 2021, along with a third-place national finish in folkstyle in 2019.
Now a student-athlete at King University in Tennessee, Eliana continues to excel at the collegiate level. She earned the title of NJCAA 235 lb National Champion in both 2023 and 2024, and was named the 2023 NJCAA National Invitational Most Outstanding Wrestler. Her excellence extends beyond athletics, as she was honored as the 2023–2024 NATYCAA Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.
On the international stage, Eliana has further cemented her legacy by winning Beach Wrestling World Championships in 2023, 2024, and 2025, solidifying her status as one of the sport’s premier and rising talents.
The life lessons learned from wrestling are not gender specific.

The Hartland Wrestling club is actively working on growing the HWC Girls brand, which focuses on the growth our youth girls participation from ages 5-18!
Who?
HWC Girls is a brand within Hartland Wrestling Club that is determined to help continue the rapid growth of women's wrestling across the nation!
What?
Girls/Women's wrestling has been one of the fastest growing sports in the US! With this come a ton of new opportunities for these athletes and we want to be in the front leading the way!
Why?
