Our Role Model
Eliana Bommarito
Eliana Bommarito is a standout athlete and scholar, known for her exceptional achievements on and off the wrestling mat. A 2022 graduate of Hartland High School, Eliana made history as a 4x High School State Champion, boasting an undefeated 54-0 record in girls' competition. She is a 4x USA Wrestling/UWW All-American and claimed national titles in both folkstyle and freestyle in 2021, along with a third-place finish in folkstyle in 2019.
Currently a junior at Alma College, Eliana continues to dominate the sport, becoming the NJCAA 235lb National Champion in both 2023 and 2024, and earning recognition as the 2023 NJCAA National Invitational’s Most Outstanding Wrestler. Her excellence extends beyond athletics, as she was honored as the 2023-2024 NATYCAA Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. On the international stage, Eliana captured the title of 2023 Beach Wrestling World Champion, further solidifying her legacy as one of the sport’s brightest rising stars.

The Hartland Wrestling club is actively working on growing the HWC Girls brand, which focuses on the growth our youth girls participation from ages 5-18!
Who?
HWC Girls is a brand within Hartland Wrestling Club that is determined to help continue the rapid growth of women's wrestling across the nation!
What?
Girls/Women's wrestling has been one of the fastest growing sports in the US! With this come a ton of new opportunities for these athletes and we want to be in the front leading the way!
Why?
