Here we go into our second week of school already. Our first practice will be
November 21 and our first meet will be December 7. It is time to get going with
pre-season condition for all those wrestlers not playing a fall sport.
Every Monday (4:15-5:30), Wednesday and Thursday (3:30-4:30) Coach Chez will hold
strength and speed training for our wrestlers. This is FREEEEEE and we need to
take advantage of it.
A open mat schedule will be out later this week.
For anyone wanting to compete there are a large number of tournaments coming up.
www.borderwarswrestling will
give you somewhat local tournaments with a national championship on November 12
and 13 in Battle Creek. The grappler fall classic will be very tough and held
at Tecumseh high school the first week in October. www.michigangrappler.com
will have all the information.

Bommarito Wins NJCAA Regional
2008 Hartland Grad and 2X State Champion Jeremy Bommarito wins the NJCAA Regional Championship knocking off the number 2 ranked wrestler in the National.
He will now compete for the National Championship in two weeks in Spokane, Washington

Jeremy Bommarito is now ranked 5th in the nation at 157 pounds. His team, North Idaho, is ranked 2nd.

Former Eagle Jeremy Bommarito has huge
opening weekend
to help lead #2 Ranked North Idaho College past #11 Montana State Northern and
Great Falls. Bommarito recorded a first period fall and a 8-0 major
decision.

Congratulations to the 2009-2010 Team as they won the Good Sports are Winners! Award from the MHSAA for the Regional. Hartland also won a Good Sports are Winners! Award in 1993 for the District.
