Clinician: Zac Stevens (2012 University of Michigan All-American and former D1 State Champion for Monroe)
Cost: $5 or donation
More Info: Come train with a NCAA All-American. This is an all age clinic so everyone is welcome.

College Update
- Jeremy Bommarito (Limestone College) qualifies for NCAA Division II National Championships by placing second in his Regional.
- Bryce Sopko (Limestone College) placed sixth in his Regional just missing qualifying for D2 Nationals. Congratulations Bryce on an amazing wrestling career. Bryce was a 4X Regional Qualifier and placed 3rd in the State at 145 in 2007. Bryce was also part of 4 State Team Runner-Up finishes and was a 2011 NCAA Division II National Qualifier . We are all proud of you!!!!

2011-2012 Schedule Now Available

Here we go into our second week of school already. Our first practice will be
November 21 and our first meet will be December 7. It is time to get going with
pre-season condition for all those wrestlers not playing a fall sport.
Every Monday (4:15-5:30), Wednesday and Thursday (3:30-4:30) Coach Chez will hold
strength and speed training for our wrestlers. This is FREEEEEE and we need to
take advantage of it.
A open mat schedule will be out later this week.
For anyone wanting to compete there are a large number of tournaments coming up.
www.borderwarswrestling will
give you somewhat local tournaments with a national championship on November 12
and 13 in Battle Creek. The grappler fall classic will be very tough and held
at Tecumseh high school the first week in October. www.michigangrappler.com
will have all the information.
